When I came into ASB as class treasurer my junior year, I had a strong plan in mind to make sure we raised enough money to have a good senior trip. I planned different ways to raise money with the other students in my class, and that school year, we decided to change how we raised money for prom. I researched what other schools were doing and communicated with our venue guide to find a decent price for tickets that still gave us a large profit. I proposed the idea of beginning ticket sales a month early and raising the price by ten dollars every week, as well as making the price ten dollars extra for guests. My classmates agreed, and we made a spreadsheet splitting up the time equally that we had to spend selling tickets (V3). That school year, my grade made almost $20,000 from prom.

The next school year, my grade had to decide where we wanted to go for our senior trip. The students and I in our ASB Class agreed that we were going to try to go to Disneyland. When we first proposed this, many people had doubts about it actually

happening. I worked on creating a proposal and plan to present to Mr. Calden to show how we were going to achieve this goal. He saw it and agreed that it could be done (V4).  I believed that if we were able to work together, my grade would definitely be able to go to Disneyland. I also proposed the idea of creating a GoFundMe and doing a Movie Night to raise more money for our grade. I worked with one of my classmates to create an online fundraiser, and we were able to raise around $10,400 toward our trip. Instead of a movie night, my grade agreed that it would be better to make the community night talent show into a fundraiser for our grade. We decided to have a bake sale dedicated to our grade, working together to choose who would bring what. We ended up raising an extra $500. I worked with Annina to create an outline for online payments for the first half of our senior trip. I also collaborated with Brody and Cheyenne to figure out the final price and had multiple calls with the

manager of the company taking us on the trip to figure out all of the other extra details, like when payments were due, how the buses work, and how we needed to send out waivers. A few of the students in my class and I divided the work to create Google Forms, documents, and spreadsheets that were sent out to other students in our grade (V4).
